Have you ever lost someone close to you, or watched a friend go through a tragic loss? Sometimes the questions that come as a result of that death are hard to answer. This book is designed to help those who are hurting by offering hope, and a few answers. The Author lost his own brother to a tragic car accident, and his questions and healing process led to this book.

The principles put forth in this book come from a Christian point of view, and there are many Scriptural points made throughout the book. It is our hope that "Dealing With Death" will be a blessing and a help in overcoming your own loss,or in helping someone you love cope with their emotions in a difficult time.

Dealing With Death Exploring the Pain of Loss on the Road to Healing eBook Mark Foster

This book is a must read for anybody struggling with the loss of loved one. Life isn't going to be the same and we shouldn't pretend everything is ok. Take time to grieve.

The author talks about his experience losing a loved one and uses Bible verses to help walk you through the healing process. As believers we have the promise of a eternal reunion. One thing that stuck in my mind was his discussion about needing to start living again and realizing the value of your loved ones still living.

It is also helpful for those unsure of what to say to somebody who has lost a loved one. He shares what not to say to somebody grieving and how your presence is more important than words.

Mark, this book is wonderful great job.the heart and soul put into this book is absolutely wonderful thank you xoxo
Wonderful book. A great resource for any one that is dealing with death. The author shares his own journey of grief and offers hope and comfort from God's Word. A great reminder that while life is forever changed following loss, we can face the future and move forward.
This book was so gripping I could not put it down. I read the entire book in one sitting. It gave me great understanding in the many losses our family has suffered in recent years. I could let go some of my questions about the loss of young people and why it happens. Very well written and easy to follow.
As someone who works in ministry, but has not experienced a death of a close relative or friend, this book has been helpful in knowing what people are experiencing and how to speak to them. I took away many points that I will use in the future when offering comfort to a grieving person. I appreciate both the personal and biblical examples that the author shares with the reader. I would recommend this book for someone who has recently experienced a death of a loved one. I feel that they would find comfort and support in the pages of this book.
WOW! What an inspiration. Only God knew that less than two years ago He would call home both of my brother-in-law’s teenage daughters. Our family has forever been changed. There is no magic equation, and life will never be the same; but I am so glad to read firsthand that grief is normal and healthy; that we can continue to live, and that God is right there with us every step of the way. I have already recommended this book to the rest of my family and friends and will continue to recommend it to those suffering from loss.
We lost our baby girl in 2010. We were told some of the same things that Mark was told when they lost their baby. Mark gives very good ideas on how to help someone who is going through a loss like this. My favorite statement from the book is, "It is going to be okay. It just doesn't have to be okay today." This book is helpful for those who are struggling with a loss and those who want to help someone who is going through loss. It is a great read, insightful and helpful. I really appreciate how he lays out the Biblical principals and the way he honestly tells his own feelings and how he dealt with them.
This book is a wonderfully balanced book for those dealing with grief. The book is not just a book of principles founded upon God's Word a pastor's perspective but is also how those principles were applied personally by the author as he dealt with the loss of his younger brother. For those dealing with loss, this book gives them very practical, personal help. For others who are trying to help those dealing with loss, it helps bring to light the pain and struggles that the grieving are going through.

Take time to read this book. It is a necessary read and helpful to anyone dealing with loss.
