Great first book from a new author. My eight year old son got the paperback version a few days ago and has not put it down. He gives it two big "Thumbs Up" and his third grade teacher is very impressed that he is reading a book that is geared for a slightly older crowd. He liked it so much that he took it to the school librarian to see if they would add it to their collection because he felt other kids would like it as much as he did. Highly recommended.
